Never had a problem during Bank of the West days, but ever since the transition to BMO it's just been issue after issue. The on-location staff are great, especially Rowena, but any time corporate/headquarters are involved the issues just take time to resolve and my overall experience has been poor. If it was still Bank of the West it would be recommendable as a banking partner, but since the merger this no longer holds true.
Bank of the West was a dream!!! BMO is a nightmare!!! Just trying to 'view' my mortgage online. NOBODY at this bank knows what they are doing. I'm going to move all of my money and loans elsewhere. HORRIBLE customer service. Horrible employee training!! Horrible Technology!!! DON"T USE THIS BANK!!!
The manager Rowena is very nice and helpful.
Bank of West in Los Altos staff and Manager Anil have been nothing but kind, helpful and professional. I had to deal with a lot of stuff with many institutions after my mom's passing. Bank of West was a bright spot, along with Star One and Fidelity. the worst FYI was Dodge and Cox.
I needed to open an account and I was in a hurry. They did everything to accommodate me. Very kind and professional people. I referred my friend who wanted to open an account there.
