Called the branch and was routed to a service center. Not helpful at all.
After being with this bank for over 15 years, I am looking forward to leaving the craziness and discord behind. For over a month I have been trying to close an account. Now it turns out I have to have a notary signed document declaring me a person to close an account I don't even want. Really?
Bank of the West was my bank from 1994 until last fall when BMO purchased them. Service fees for various services have increased significantly, they no longer support the common financial software companies like Quicken and many ATMs that used to be fee-free aren’t any longer. Told me I should be able to do a large cash withdrawal if I schedule it... drove 2hr round trip only to be told that they are unable to accommodate large withdrawals.
