Overall, my experience with the Live Oak branch of Bank of Texas was disappointing. The bank’s systems and processes seem rigid, and customer service even when polite feels unhelpful. If you need reliable access to your money, clear communication, and someone who’ll take responsibility rather than pass you around, this branch didn’t deliver. I hope they improve, because with the location and basic facilities they have, there is potential. But until that happens, I’ll be looking to move my banking elsewhere.
I visited the branch today to open a commercial account. The younger female teller asked me to wait, though the lobby was empty. She later escorted me herself to an office and requested documents, appearing impatient as I searched for them in my email. Within 5 minutes of this she suggested scheduling for next week, despite it being only 2:45 PM. I asked if they bank was closing she mentioned last appointments are at 4:00 PM which made no sense.
