Had to drive a hour away to the nearest bank as there’s only 2 locations of this branch and the rest have been closed down for the last couple months. They couldn’t even close my accounts they told me to call and go to westpac to close it. When I called bank of Melbourne first they told me come in to close it then I get there and they tell me they can’t close my account. Why open a bank if yous can’t close it for us.
Customer service is so rude
2 tellers open and 20 people waiting in line. The line was way out the door. I don't blame the tellers as that's the working conditions they have to work in due to The Bank of Melbourne closing all their branches and customers having to travel to the very few branches left. This is the result we get. I decided not to wait and come back later. Only to find the line much longer.
