A simple overseas money transfer has taken over a week and is still not completed, bordering on a remittance scam! Every time you speak to someone at the branch, you (my elderly dad) are treated poorly. Absolutely terrible customer service — especially at the Kundrathur branch in Chennai. I will be closing my account the next time I’m in India. Avoid this bank!
I tried to ring multiple time but never got through and also left messages each time but I never got phone call back from bank. I would like to open NRO account but no one have time help me. very poor service . Even in Sydney I feel i am dealing with bank in India.
