Received a check from my Mother's account as part of estate settlement. The account remains open and monthly fees are charged to have the account. I went in to cash the check, a bank of America check at a bank of America branch and they charge a fee to cash the check. Charging at both ends. Staff on site have ZERO authority to do anything they are just following and hiding behind an unethical policy. Never work with a big bank from out of state. Support community banks. Those bankers are allowed to think.
I would probably head to a different branch this one when it gets busy they don't put all hands on deck. I wasted my time stopping here made that mistake the branch manager made me go to a window when he could've taken care of me. Also to find out if couldn't deposit the check to my business account I've gone to others no issue. Definitely wouldn't recommend wasting your time here.
Negative experience at this location last week. Went in to the lobby since I needed to withdraw an amount of cash, which I understood was higher than the daily allowance from the ATM machine - I actually said this to the person who greeted me. He said his colleague would help me, so I had to follow him into his office. He then asked for my ATM card and my ID. I do visit Bank of America bloomington. The manager Mr Tenzing Nima good leadership and much welcoming. I love the staff, they do do excellent job..
