Came in to open an account with a significant deposit. They put me with a lady who then referred to me another lady in securities who was busy at the time & said she would call me. Never did, I called her & left message after not hearing from her. I simply wanted to verify posted online rates & open a account. They lost a significant depositor. I'll stay with Wells Fargo & my securities broker.
One of the worst banks out there. I am so glad the one I went to closed down. Worst customer service I ever experienced. I was just looking at their pamphlets thinking of of opening an account but I dodged a bullet. They kicked me out cause one of the employees thought I looked suspicious. Bank of America Boone branch didn’t catch a bad check I received for over a week. I was out of town for business had 4,500 pulled from my account. Train your tellers to do better.
I drove 30 minutes to this branch to only find it closed and padlocked. The business trailer in the back was also closed. This was Monday, May 5 at 10:00 am. You should post that it is closed on Google and remove business hours.
I wanted to exchange some US Dollars for Peruvian PEN (Soles) in advance of upcoming travel to Peru. The exchange rate at Bank of America was about 7% while the Wise brand exchange rate was 3.68. The BOA exchange rate for foreign currency is terrible. The Soles provided were mostly dirty and torn. You have to use clean unwrinkled Soles in most Peruvian stores or they will not accept them.
