I try to keep my bad experiences to myself, but in this case the last two visits I've had to the Berryessa B of A have been subpar. Today for instance (1/16/2026) the bank is having a power outage: apparently rendering their lobby staff and tellers incapable of any level of customer service at all. Only BofA branch that causes problems cashing their own checks. Reporting them to government. This destroys the whole financial system if banks don't immediately and freely honor their own checks. It should be ILLEGAL to charge a fee for cashing your own check!

Never had a pleasant experience coming here. I was in line waiting to withdraw 1.5k from the bank teller. Some young small girl in her early 20s wearing a red top came up to ask what I'm waiting in line for. I said to withdraw money. She proceeds to ask "HOW MUCH?" I can see the 10 people in line were silent and waiting for me to answer. I gave her a look and a long pause and said, just $500, but I don't want to use the ATM.
