They closed the branch in my town so I have to drive 1hour to get to the closest bank. No ATM and they charge 2.50 per transaction. Great isn't.
I have banked here since 1968 and am very disappointed that the bank is writing off Wilkes County. For the last few years, service has been declining (remember when we had a "personal banker"?). Wait times are often long since two other intown branches closed and the number of employees has been cut. Yesterday I went in at 3:30, which is marked peak time on the graph, and there was only one teller working. I was fourth in line and before I had finished, there were four more behind me. Extremely disappointed that Bank of America is closing the Wilkesboro NC branch. Since the next closest branch will be 45 minutes away, I will be closing my accounts and transferring to another financial institution.
