I scheduled an appointment to open a new account and left a message inquiring about the requirements for a Canadian citizen to open a US bank account. A day before the appointment, Tony, an employee called me, and I explained to him my situation and clarified that I have a rental agreement in the US, my Canadian passport, Canadian driver's license and social insurance number.
