I do not recommend this branch or any other Bank of America branch because whenever I deposit a check, they give me a receipt that I will receive in 2 days and in the end they end up holding them for 10 days and I call customer service and they tell me they can't do anything, always the same excuses. Yesterday I already closed two accounts, one personal and one business, and today I will close another one and after I receive my money from the deposited checks, I will end up closing the last account. Well my business partner was given a check for a job we completed. The check was for a good amount but under $10,000.00. It was lower than $8,000.00. So we went into the branch located on Grand River near the Southfield fwy. My partner went in alone with 3 forms of identification. The bank teller who was working at 11:30 am on June 12, she told my business partner that she couldn’t cash the check because it was too much money.
