These guys are great, opened a new checking account that I had previously opened online and was subsequently closed due to ID verification issues, and accommodated a walk-in; the personal banker spent a solid 45 minutes working through all of the tedium on the back end, she went above and beyond to ensure everything was configured correctly before I left and not after the fact. The goal is to add an external account to move money into my BOA account. Tried online but the actual steps required don't match the online instructions. Called BOA customer service for help. The rep was very nice and tried his best but to no avail. He put me on hold to get help from his boss but could not solve the mystery. He finally conceded that the process is less than intuitive and suggested I go into the nearest location for assistance. Drove to the nearest location and asked the on site rep for help. This is horrible, not only do you all MAKE me come into the bank NO drive threw. But, I walk in and 3 people ahead of me and one teller !!! The other teller sitting at handicap area and not helping ! I would love an explanation of how this is exceptional customer service ! Explain to me why I would ever be tempted to close my other account and transfer my money here.
Terrible customer service ….no one ever answers the phone ……Maggie the teller is nice but most of the other employees are very condescending……Stephanie is the worst ….based on BoA reply ….it takes about two seconds to answer a phone and ask someone to hold …..I’ve never been in the branch and even heard a desk phone ring even when I was calling from my cellphone.
