Applied to Bank of America to open a business deposit account for a new LLC. Not a loan, not a credit card — just a checking account for the company to deposit its own money. Denied with no specific explanation, citing "information from consumer reporting agencies." Except the LLC has no credit history and cannot have one — the company was just registered. BOA on Jungermann is consistently the worst bank to do business with! The customer service inside has been so poor that I thought I'd use the drive-thru ATM. I made a cash deposit of over $900 on 2/23/26. The ATM accepted the cash, acknowledged it was counting it, and after minutes of waiting, notified me that my deposit was canceled. It did not return the cash and did not give me a receipt. It did return my ATM card. I went inside to report the incident.
