Yesterday morning, I went to the Bank of America located at 18622 MacArthur Blvd., Irvine, CA 92612. This financial center is one of worst Bank of America centers I have ever seen. I have been with Bank of America for over 20 years and I have over 10 accounts with BofA. This center is usually not busy, probably because the culture at this financial center is to not help customers. I find it very strange that this branch has many offices but only ONE client relationship manager is here on a weekday at 3PM? Do people skip work nowadays?? Very inefficient and can’t get anything done. The office is practically empty. Why operate at all if you can’t help clients?
I am astonished how the lack of urgency to help or assist has become a norm at the Bank of America. We were doing a wire transfer of 70k+ and was advised to go directly to the bank to help assist. We though they would be excited to help as we utilized their services for heloc and savings. We arrived at 10 am and told us no one could assist and to come back at 2 pm, which we did. Probably some of the worst service I have encountered. Went it during my lunch break around 12:30 for what I thought would be a simple wire transfer. They said no one is available, we all go to lunch at 1 so someone can help you after 2pm. She said i can do it on your mobile app. I said it’s a lot of money and I would feel more comfortable if someone who knows what they are doing does it.
