I am astonished how the lack of urgency to help or assist has become a norm at the Bank of America. We were doing a wire transfer of 70k+ and was advised to go directly to the bank to help assist. We though they would be excited to help as we utilized their services for heloc and savings. We arrived at 10 am and told us no one could assist and to come back at 2 pm, which we did. Probably some of the worst service I have encountered. Went it during my lunch break around 12:30 for what I thought would be a simple wire transfer. They said no one is available, we all go to lunch at 1 so someone can help you after 2pm. She said i can do it on your mobile app. I said it’s a lot of money and I would feel more comfortable if someone who knows what they are doing does it. They have safety deposit boxes, financial planning, day-to-day banking. They honor their hours and try hard to meet your needs in the best way possible. I've always found them to be professional and sincere. The parking lot is gated but they validate.
