I deposited a check from my own bank account at another local institution to transfer funds to BOA on 4-13. I was informed by the teller of a hold. Not a problem. The next day I got an email from BOA that extend the hold time from 4-15 to 4-17. I checked my account that I transfered from. The check cleared on 4-14. I accepted the hold until 4-17 because I didn't really need the money urgently.
