I was it was still in Punta Gorda. Why the powers that be could not find an appropriate place in Punta Gorda is interesting. Actually it feels like they just decided to abandon Punta Gorda and have two B of A 's in Port Charlotte. I don't think it was a sound business decision. I have been with Bank of America over 20+yrs. This location is the Best !! All the employees are always ready to help and so professional. I love the teller Chi. She is efficient and very polite. She is always smiling and willing to go above and beyond for the customers. She is a huge asset to Bank of America.
Customer service was terrible. Will never bank here again.
This Branch has restored my faith in BOA. I had been dealing with the Branch in Georgia and compared to Georgia this branch is head and shoulders better than any I have dealt with. The employes took me early for my appointment, worked me on my issues and were very helpful. I am not a fan of "Appointment banking" which is the reason for the 4 star. I was deeply disturbed to hear what happened to my friend today at this location. After removing his hat and revealing his kippa, he was refused service by an employee named Chan, while others were helped without issue. The situation escalated so badly that the police were called. I truly hope she is permanently removed from her position. No person who discriminates against someone for being Jewish should be representing a company like this. As proud members of the Jewish community, we will always stand up against hate.
