free checking I love my bank! They offer free checking with direct deposit. I can do all of my banking through FREE ATMs around the US. I do not have to worry about when the bank is open or closed. When I do go through the teller lane, they are very friendly. I love the FREE online bill pay. I have saved a lot of time and money by not having to post my own bills.Â
Checking and Savings Accounts I have been with Bank of America for more than 15 year, well before it became Bank of America. I have always had good experiences with them but one time comes to mind in particular. This was probably 10 or 11 years ago, when you didn't hear so much about identification theft, but it happened to me. Bank Of America is horrible Worst banking encounter ever. Closed all my banking account as well as my family banking and business accounts. Got escort out by the police after the manager refuses to remove a name from an account stating " You can not do this you can only close and open a new one BANK OF AMERICA POLICY" after asking her to show me the policy where it says that she walked the other way and assisted another customer than came back and said you can change it and than point to the door out. Great bank! I think this has to be one of the best banks I've banked at in a while. I trust my money to be safe and they let you know what is up from the start unlike a lot of other banks. Again, this place is on the loop so it's VERY convenient.Â

Bank of America I have used Bank of America for a few years now. I stop at the same bank almost every week to deposit my pay check. Recently (a couple of months ago) I stopped and did my deposit. To make a long sotry short the bank messed up my deposit and charged me a bunch of overdraft fees, and 2 of my credit card payments did not go through so I got charged a bunch of fees for that. Decent Bank I am neither here nor there about BOA. They charge for EVERYTHING. Which is a little bit ridiculous. The reason I stay is that they are national. They are almost everywhere.Â
Great bank! I've heard and read the horror stories, and seriously, the people spreading these need to get a life. Have you ever heard of lifting a calculator, and trying to manage your finances that way? How about an online account? You don't go around prick-waving when someone at the bank makes a screwup. Always nice banking with them! I've had many accounts at various banks, but this one is the best in customer service. They staff remembers customers by name and you are always greeted with a smile. They even make sure to acknowledge you while you're waiting in line. An A+ to this BRANCH!!Â
