It was my absolute delight to be a guest at The Bank House Mount Victoria, this lovingly restored and very unique property in the Blue Mountains. If you love everything old that is new again you will experience this and much more. From the moment you arrive, you can see, feel (and smell) the welcome. Nothing better then a beautifully restored log fire, cuddled up on and surrounded by great antique furniture with a book or taking advantage of the pay tv options available. Stepping back in time with all the modern comforts is an incredible experience. Gorgeous gardens, backing on to the park. A short walk to the local historic cinema or a cute local cafe. This is a great escape from the busy city of Sydney. Hosts are welcoming and a pleasure to deal with and always available to help. Will continue returning to this gem.
We had a wonderful weekend at the Bank House. Deb and Jeff are fabulous hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Everything we could have thought of to make it a wonderful stay was already taken care of. The rooms themselves are gorgeous and toasty warm. We felt right at home and will be sure to return.
