No words can explain how upset I was with Dr. Banjoko. Didn't even look at me the entire 15 minute appointment. One year into treatment and the office in Savannah decided to move to Pooler. They told me to kick rocks and go find someone else since I have no ability to drive to Pooler. I am blind. Rude, uncaring, just collecting a check.
I was referred to HBH and Dr Banjoko for TMS Therapy. The Dr was kind answered all my questions explained TMS to me was patient, and spent 45 minutes with me. The staff was friendly and seemed to be busy. The check in process was smooth, I used an IPAD to answer questions and fill out health history. I completed TMS therapy the TMS person I saw everyday was friendly empathetic and kind
He is rude and unprofessional. He should not be treating any patients. HBH should be embarrassed to have him on staff.
This guy is a joke. He is rude as hell, and I've been diagnosed by many doctors over many years and in his 2 minute yearly sit downs with me he told me all the ways that my diagnosis were wrong and I was wrong. If you are looking for an initial diagnosis or medication help DO NOT GO TO HIM.
Physician left practice and their office rescheduled my appointment to over a month later. This in turn lead me to going off my meds , that have dangerous withdrawal symptoms. It took 5 days for them to approve my refills and that entailed me calling 3 times a day to get something done about it. I will be moving practices thankfully . Also thankful that the Savannah practice is being shut down. The office staff is so incredibly rude. I was told on the phone to take the appointment or not. Like it’s not their problem type of ... read more
I’ve been to many mental health providers over the past 20 years and Dr Banjoko is, by far, the worst I have ever been to. Read off the computer the entire time, forms his own opinion from notes as opposed to asking you directly, no explanation on prescriptions. He’s not interested in helping complex situations and even said if I don’t agree with him to feel free to find another physician. Very unprofessional.
Cold is not even the word. He SHOULD NOT be "treating" children. Basically told me there was no hope and nothing I can do for my son. Then proceeded to tell us he will no longer see him. My child is odd, ADHD, conduct disorder. He told a struggling parent...sorry for your luck. I will be reporting to any state board that will listen.
One of the most pompous, cold practitioners ever encountered. Needs to learn how to smile once in awhile. Had to stay with office due to insurance. Nurse practitioner was far more compassionate and helpful, but left practice. Have moved on to a far more empathetic office. You should know that front office staff is revolving door. You never see the same person from one visit to the next. That says a lot. If you need a robot, you found the right place.
I am so unhappy with this facility, the doctor, PA, and the individuals' condescending demeanor at the front desk. I leave with excess stress after every visit, but unfortunately there are no other psychiatrists in this area for me to visit. I am looking eagerly for a replacement facility that will not make me question the ethics of every staff member on site. We, as patients, are paying your facility for a service meant to improve our behavioral and mental health, and its unavailable here.
