We were hoping for a true country fair and were a bit disappointed. Plenty of rides and games on the midway so I guess it would be good for kids. One exception for us was the tractor pulls, which were pretty good.
It's been years since I went to the Bangor state fair
Don't waste your time. I've seen better fairs at a town of 200 Centennial celebration. No vendors to speak of. All for little kids, the rides and games. Extremely small agricultural exhibits. And for the bangor state fair, could have been held at Broadway Park.
