Do not go here if you have curly or textured hair. I read on the website that they can cut curly hair, but this proved not to be true. As soon as I walked in, I was getting weird looks from all the staff. The woman who was supposed to cut my hair was especially sheepish. Keep in mind, I had written in that my hair was curly when booking the appointment, so it shouldn't have been a surprise. I have been going to Shaylee for years and don’t trust anyone else with my hair. The staff is fun and welcoming. It is a treat for me to come in that I look forward to every time. I would never go anywhere else. I always leave feeling beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend Bangor Hair Co.

I’ve been seeing Cait for over two years and she is the absolute best. I always leave the salon happy with my hair. She takes the time to listen to what I want and goes above and beyond to deliver! The atmosphere of the salon is so friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend the girls at Bangor Hair Co.

I scheduled an appointment over a week ago.. I arrived to be told that the stylist I booked with was not there nor was she taking new appointments. I am from out of town and am very disappointed that I was not able to get service when I waited over a week to be seen. I did not reschedule. I think it us bad business.
