Great trails,great forest mixture,great wildlife and plants. And it's peaceful. Good maps posted. We're so lucky to have City Forest!
Wonderful big park for easy hiking, trail running, or biking. Tall trees provide lots of shade. Paths are clearly marked with maps posted at intersections. There are primary and secondary trails, so lots of options for exploring. Trails are dog friendly; I had my pup with me, and we saw many others walking their dogs too. Heavily visited park but didn't feel crowded; getting there early is best if you want a quiet secluded walk.
