A true hidden gem in DC, better than Mandu or Anju. The dishes are more authentic than the best Korean restaurants in Annandale or Centreville. Cozy atomosphere with nice patio too. The spicy dry radish and eggplant served as side dishes are among the best I ever had anywhere. Excellent classic bibimbap and bulbogi. Highly recommend.
i wish i could give them a million stars. oh my goodness!! i was in the mood for some delicious korean food, something real comfort like. it was perfect! all the food was so so so flavorful. the bugolgi cheesteak was my favorite. i always know a food place is going to be amazing when its older ladies in the back haha! lovely people. i cant wait to go again
I’m honestly blown away. The service was outstanding from start to finish, the staff were so gracious, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. You can tell they really care about the experience they create. The food was INCREDIBLE. Everything was fresh, packed with flavor, and clearly made with care, with specific attention to making an authentic Korean meal. Even better, it’s super affordable for the quality you’re getting. Safe to say I’ve found my new go-to Korean restaurant in DC!!!
the japchae consisted of noodles and raw onion—nothing else. the thousands of times i’ve had it (at other places, including at home), it always comes with other vegetables. the fried rice was mushy, gummy, salty and stuck to sides of container. the beef in the bibimbap is dark, tough, and a less than appetizing cut of meat. the kimbap was OK. our server seemed really dejected and couldn't muster any warmth or responsiveness.
