Had a family death and they didn't offer to postpone stay to a later date. We missed the first nights, ended up only staying one night, we were just sitting by the pool thinking about everything, was asked if we would like a drink, we ordered but then waited and waited - ended up leaving 40 mins later as they never came. Upon checkout reception unmanned and no answer to calls.

I had low expectations since there aren’t usually many good accommodation options on the South Coast, but this place was a beautiful surprise. The one-bedroom room was very spacious and perfect for couples or even a family with kids. Furnishings felt well above standard, and while it may be a little pricey, the quality makes it worthwhile. Booked a few villas for a work offsite and was extremely impressed - gorgeous large villas, bed was extremely comfortable, nice mini bar selection and the overall vibe of the place is an exclusive resort. Literally one of the nicest places I have stayed at, and I have been to some exclusive resorts, they really have done a great job here. Location for the beach was amazing, lots of sunrise walks and you can hear the crashing waves from the villas. Amazing place only recently discovered. The rooms are very large and set on the golf course and the over the sand dunes to 7 mile beach. All the staff are extremely welcoming from reception to the cleaners. The restaurant is good depending on the night a previous visit was average but this one was great. Regardless I highly recommend Bangalay Luxury Villas
