I chased the Bang Bang Noodles pop‑up in Highland Park—they serve hand‑pulled noodles that are fresh and chewy. My bowl of spicy dan dan noodles had great chili heat and sesame flavor. Locals rave, saying it’s among the best fresh noodles in LA. The vibe was simple and friendly, like a neighborhood secret. Worth following their pop‑up Instagram

When I found out there is Bang Bang noodles in West LA, I was over the moon, because the food was tasty when I had it in China. However, I left feeling dissatisfied. It didn't taste anything like the originals. The design of the store was neat though. 🤷 The servers were also friendly and efficient. Insanely good. Incredible service. Why the ratings are so low are beyond me. The noodles and flavors are excellent. Definitely makes me miss Shanghai! The service is so personal. What a find!
