Bang! is Charlottesville's original small plate venue located two blocks off the Historic downtown mall. Owners/chefs Vincent Derquenne and Tim Burgess use their talents to create a menu rooted in the cuisines of the Pacific Rim, creating dishes with Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese influences. Complementing the food is a full Martini menu, punctuated with intense, lively flavored drinks which live up to the restaurant's name.

Great food and great staff
Went for restaurant week in a group of 4 so we had 12 dishes. It was so much food. Favs were tuna crispy rice, chili garlic chicken noodles, tempura sweet potatoes, Korean beef spring rolls and duck ravioli. Update: Was there last weekend for a date night and it was amazing! I usually sit outside but we sat inside this time and the vibe was good. We ordered way too much food for two people 5 plates and 2 buns, we were stuffed and had a little food to take home. Bang is ALWAYS delicious! The menu is seasonal, and everything we’ve ordered has always been spot on. Tonight we had the oyster mushroom steamed bun and the pork belly bun, both of which were the best of all our dishes, the Korean beef spring rolls, the fried rice balls, and the chili garlic chicken noodles. Can’t wait to go back!
