I took my dog to Banfield for over 15 years and switched to the Blanco location several years ago because of the caring attitudes of the doctors and staff. Sadly, my precious fur baby passed away about a month ago. The doctor and staff were very sensitive to what I was going through. I placed my trust that they would walk me through the process and take care of us during that extremely difficult decision to transition her and they did just that. Justin the guy at the front desk is rude and inefficient. He forgets people are on the other line on the phone. He left me there for 45 minutes for one quick question. When I told him politely about the wait, he snapped at me. He takes over 25 minutes per pet check in, causing a huge line and wait time, making us be late to work or school. I only keep coming because my favorite veterinarian works at this location. The other girl at the front desk is nice and fast. The only bad part of this location is Justin. Had two of my dogs spayed today. Picked them up and drove home. Went from vet to car. When we got home my husbands pants had blood all over them. Haven’t had her for even an hour. One of their incisions was open - we were told they just glued the outside and won’t take any responsibility. The dog didn’t even move the entire drive home. It was clearly not closed well. Spent a ton of money on two spays and now I’m at the emergency vet to get her closed back up and ensure she doesn’t get an infection spending god knows how much... read more

I am devastated by the loss of my 2-year-old Great Pyrenees, who passed away on May 30. Between July and March, her globulin levels spiked from a normal 3.2 g/dL to an elevated 4.9 g/dL, coinciding with sudden vision loss, severe muscle atrophy, and profound lethargy.
