Banfield misdiagnosed my dog, telling me she needed knee surgery to the cost of over $6000. They also said she had severe arthritis and spinal damage . My dog was 2 years old. I took her back to the original vet - drive from Florida back to Georgia and was told she was misdiagnosed. I even thought and spoke to Banfield about putting her to sleep. I have been going to various Banfield locations (due to moving) for at least 10 years and I have never had an issue other than dealing with Royal Palm. My first experience was when I scheduled my cat to be neutered and TOLD them about his complications. They assured me it was okay and scheduled the appointment. After dropping him off, the vet calls me and told me she does NOT do this type of surgery.
