I trusted Banfield Pet Hospital in Chula Vista for my dog Izzy’s routine spay surgery, and I deeply regret that decision. During the procedure, I received a call from the veterinarian (Dr. Alyssa Atilano) saying she could not find my dog’s ovaries and was unable to complete the surgery. As someone who works in the medical field and assists in human surgeries, I was shocked. I recommend not going to this location EVER! matter of fact any banfield location. I took my dog for a regular dental cleaning on Saturday and she has been sick ever since. I took her for a follow up on Tuesday because she was sick the doctor never came into the room I was told she would call me, the doctor never called me. I called and scheduled a virtual appointment for 2pm today which the doctor never joined. Here it is 230 I called the banfield location and kept being put on hold so I hung up.
