The fact you have to continue paying for a plan after your pet dies is ridiculous. If nothing else, make sure to make it very clear to people upfront. Had I known this I would have never signed up in the first place. Also, not worth the cost. I still had to pay money every time I went to an appointment. They love adding in those extra costs. They are not a trustworthy company, and the vet services reflect that. The vets are not friendly, the staff is not friendly. It felt very factory like, meaning that they wanted as many a... read more

I took my pet to Banfield to get an exam, rabies shot and a medical grooming. When I made the appointment they said they could do still do everything at that time. They got a 1/4 if the way through the shave and decided he needed to be medicated and said he would have to come back. I never met with the vet during the exam and they were unprepared, rude and didn't have a clue why I was there when I came in for the appointment. I would NOT recommend them to anyone!!

Please do not go to this vet. There are three vets in the practice. However, you can only talk to the one vet who has seen your pet. If that person is busy or out of town, there’s absolutely nothing they will do to help you. We needed our dog evaluated for a soft tissue issue, they prescribed, several x-rays that cost $700. Nothing was revealed, which we already knew was true since he did not have any broken bones. The radiologist couldn’t read the x-rays for another five days. Also at point of sale they can’t print you a re... read more

Shortly after leaving, 0 called the hospital. I answered the call to help the front desk, and 0 had me on a 3 way call with OWP relations associate from corporate. The owner shared that she "came in for an appt and was told by associates that she could be seen in a room with both pets" She said Dr. Tarah told her this 6 months ago and the gentleman that talked to her to schedule also confirmed they were in- room appts. She then shared that she was told when she got in today that COVID policy does not allow us to do in room a... read more

After having to put my dog  to sleep after confirming that she was riddled with tumors in her liver and spleen, realize that the many years of paying for their wellness plan and staunch and endless upselling during EVERY visit was a lengthy (yrs long) waste of money. Xrays, Blood tests, physical examinations etc. during their scheduled  wellness plan visits and no inkling into the tumors within our almost 9 year old Blk Lab (1 being the size of a tennis ball). Also, if you are contemplating  and thinking about their wellness... read more

All banfield wants is your money until your dog passes. Let's see if they give you their condolences....I had 2 dogs that pass away and not one time did banfield reach out to me and then I still had to pay the remaining of the plan. Greety business. Don't get the wellness plan. If your animal passes. You are still left paying the plan. They don't care. All about money to Banfield

Vets only here for a paycheck. Don't care about your dogs or cat. Ready and willing to take your money and act like they care but they don't. Be warned

I have 7 rescue dogs. All go to Banfield pet hospital in niskayuna new york. One of my dogs just passed due to kidney failure. Banfield niskayuna couldn't even call me and give me their condolences.....absolutely nothing from but they were there to take my money every month. You would think they would more sympathy since they act like they love animals. Fake vets
