$$$$$$$$$$$ I refuse to take my cat to any Banfield ever again. I went in to have my cat treated for a urinary tract infection and they wanted to test him for everything. After several unnecessary tests and $300 later, they discovered that my cat had a urinary tract infection (which is what I told them he had in the beginning). I can't spend $300 every time I go to a Vet.

MISDIAGNOSED I took my 11 wk Dalmatian puppy in to Banfield b/c she had a small lump on her neck that seemed to be tender when touched. The attending vet looked at her & immediately told us it was cancer & said that it needs to be surgically removed IMMEDIATELY or that my puppies life was in danger. For some reason, in the back of my mind I did not believe the lump was cancerous at all. I had to ASK THE VET for an anti-inflammatory to try to bring down the swelling. The veterinarian was very rude and condescending when I wou... read more

Banfield killed my cat. This was nearly two years ago, so I feel I'm being objective. My cat stopped eating and so we rushed her to Banfield where they diagnosed her with diabetes. Banfield transferred her to an emergency clinic to get her stable. We followed up with Banfield who taught us how to inject her with insulin and about her diet, etc. We were told that we were overfeeding her and needed to drastically scale back the food we gave her in order to both manage her weight and her diabetes. On doctor's orders we limited ... read more

I have had a good experience... I have been taking my little Boston Terrier to this Banfield since I got him at 10 wks. He is now 1 1/2. They always treated him well and took care of him. I remember one time in March, we had to rush our puppy over because he had an allergic reaction and his face blew up! They took him back right away and got meds into him. He was fine after a few hours. We are on one of the plans so we never had to pay a lot of money. I have no complaints here.

If you care about your pet, do not take them to this location. The staff have absolutely no respect or consideration for you or your pet. I dropped my pet off at 830 am for her last shots and a fecal test. We hear nothing all day. Around 400 pm I call asking the status of my pet. The receptionist says they have been dealing with an emergency all day and could not get to her and to come pick her up and reschedule for the next week. 3 days later my pet suddenly needs emergency … See more

If you are looking to spend more money, have your dog leave in worse shape, and be given completely absurd and unfounded advice, boy do I have the place for you!!What an awful experience from start to finish. I took my girl here 3/29/2020 for a bandage change. Just over a week after she had her toe amputated due to a mast cell tumor. She remained totally asymptomatic and had perfect bloodwork. Dr. Brake, the best vet ever, located at Banfield Carrollwood, took an aggressiv… See more

I love Dr. Vega and how attentive he is to my furr babies. He is the doctor for all 4 of my furr babies and without his attention to detail we would have never known that one of our babies was having health issues. We love him and so does our furr babies.

Dr Manning is awesome she has been my fur babies Dr for a long time and the staff are awesome. I haven’t had any problems when it comes to getting my fur babies to be seen. My Chico was attacked by another dog a few months back and Banfield got him in immediately and today my Lola had to be seen and they got her in today even though they were all booked. Love the way my fur babies are cared for I don’t like dropping them off but the care they have received when I have had to do a drop off is fabulous. Thank you for love and ... read more
