They misdiagnosed our dog with gastroenteritis, sent her home and she died two days later from a large tumor. This was after they did X-rays. Sad.
The worst banfield staff and management!! I am appalled by the behavior the manager Erica exhibited today and will be reporting her to banfield corporate offices ! stay away at all costs!
RecommendedDr. Um is the absolute best!! She makes wonderful recommendations for pet care, is very thorough with checking labs, suggesting food and best treatment plans. She will also thoughtfully refer you to other specialists if necessary. Wonderful as are the vet tech teammates. Highly recommend Banfield in Bethesda, Dr. Um and the team.
My dog Kelby has always received good care here; the staff -- from veterinarians to vet techs to the folks at the front desk -- is always friendly and helpful. We're on the Banfield health plan, and I really appreciate the free office visits. At one point, when there was a miscommunication about prescriptions, I called back and it was quickly resolved, with a full refund. Plus, they have a really talented cartoonist on staff. I've heard nothing but horror stories about your hospital. -And the last story I read where you purposely removed a dog's eye without its owner's permission, sealed my opinion about your medical expertise or lack there of. I PRAY your office(s) will be closed for good as soon as legally possible. Your lack of compassion for animals AND your focus on the financial end of your business days sicken me to my stomach.
