I'm very upset, my dog had a slit below his mouth. I took him in, I was told they couldn't sew it up. Bc he has a heart murmur. The vet assured me it would heal.I took my dog back in. Told her it wasn't healing. She said it will take a long time to heal. I asked her if she could wipe off the crusty stuff from his eyes draining. She abruptly told me that's not what I was here for.
