No recommendations from me. They would not see my dog when he was very sick. Only a few weeks prior he was in for a wellness check and his very large tumor on his liver was not detected. The blood work should have also detected the cancer from the liver blood work. When he got sick from the tumor, they said they were too busy to see him. They claim to be a hospital but they are a money making corporation. Now have another vet to see him thru his hospice care but they won’t let me out of the wellness plan.
My friend has taken her beloved dog to Banfield for years and even purchased their wellness plan. Recently she took him in for an emergency and was told they could not fit him in and to go to an emergency vet. She did this to the tune of $800. If Banfield had taken him in she would have gotten a significant discount. However, this is not the main reason she is upset. It turns out that her baby has liver cancer. Thanks to the first vet my puppy saw at banfield that misdiagnosed her now we have the news that our puppy is dying in the next few months and it could of been prevented at the time of her first visit. They gave us the run around and made us pay hundreds of dollars for inconclusive test that weren't done by professionals. I've been to about 6 Banfield's in NOVA and this one is my favorite! We've been taking our 2 cats to Manassas and they have been absolutely wonderful. I love when we go in and they know who we are, acknowledging the cats by name is really so sweet and it comforting that they have maintained the same staff for as long as we have been using manassas banfield. Other Banfields we have used have a revolving door of staff and its made for miscommunication, long waits and not pleasant experiences, but not at Manassas. Thank you won... read more
Most awesome Banfield there is!!! The staff is super friendly, courteous, and caring. Dr. Nagy is awesome as are the other Drs. But, if it weren't for Dr. Nagy and her knowledge my dog would quite possibly be dead. My dog has Addison's disease and thanks to Dr. Nagy she figured it out and my dog is happy and healthy. I also have another dog who has mega-esophagus and I didn't know it or know about what it is, but the Drs there helped me once again figure out what was wrong with my dog and she is also happy and healthy! Jax had his first vet appt today and we chose Banfield and so glad we did! Dr. Jonatan and the staff there were great! They were so patient with my pup, as he is super stubborn and hyper! They are great with puppies and Jax really enjoyed all the love and attention! We look forward to seeing them in 3 weeks for his next round of shots! Highly recommend them and their Optimum Wellness plan! What would have cost us $232 was free with just a $39.95/mo fee for the plan.
