Horrible experience We trusted Banfield with our pets. Unfortunately this almost costed us our precious Chihuahua's life. We had both our dogs on a wellness plan at the east Vancouver location. The staff up front was friendly but we did not like the fact that every time you go in you pretty much always see a different doctor. The doctors insisted we spay our six month chihuahua even though we were worried because she was small under 3 pounds. Dissatisfied with this veterinary office I've previously worked for Banfield for about 8 months. The hospital management progressively shown hostile behavior toward me. I was afraid to go to upper management due to retaliation. Plus, this hospital is over priced.
Truly a Great Hospital I have nothing but high praise for Banfield in Vancouver as they have treated us with nothing but respect and they've been 100% forthright in communication with us. We found our rescue doggy living on the streets and he was in good shape, but we needed to get him neutered and he badly needed his teeth cleaned when we found him. Great Care, Excellent Service – We have an older dog we rescued off the streets of North Portland - literally. Taking him in to the vet, we needed to get him neutered, have his teeth cleaned and basically get him checked out since he'd been living on the streets and we knew nothing about him. I took him to Banfield because it was close to my house and it was convenient, but I'm glad I did. Wellness Plans are a SCAM I worked for Banfield briefly as a collections rep at the corporate office in Portland, Oregon. The post by Daniel is perfectly indicative of the Corporate atmosphere as well. The Wellness Plans are made for one reason only, TO MAKE THE COMPANY MONEY! All day long I talked to people who were told by the hospital that the plan could be canceled at any time. Banfield The Pet Hospital is extremely helpful. I had the complete opposite experience. I've been taking my puppy here for the last four months. Every time we go in, they give me the pros and cons of what they're recommending. They don't push things on me if I tell them I'm not interested. They're incredibly nice and helpful. I was surprised that I liked them so much since they're a chain but I do like them a lot! And I'm a dog trainer so I have pretty discerning tastes when it comes to vets.
I love this place I take my kitten here and i adore this place i totally disagree with these reviews these clinic is so awesome they totally sit down with you and talk about your concerns and payment options that are aviable for you very nice people and they love aniamals thats the bonus
Banfield has horrible customer care I to took my kitten to Banfield and had the same remarks about how people who don't take their animals to Banfield don't really care about them for the vet tech, it seems as if unless you have money you are worthless to them, I now take all my animals to Companion Pet Clinic and absolutely love them there.
We have taken our dogs here for several years now and absolutely love it! Dr. Ed is the best! We are on their plan for our dog's care and find it to be a complete blessing. No more large payments at one time for shots, dental exams, etc. Plus we love their weekend hours. This is great when you work full time and only have your weekends available.
