Great vets, caring staff. I took my new baby to Banfield on May 26th. The service was slightly delayed but overall we had a great visit. The Vet, Dr. Bernard, was amazing. She was so kind and caring. I felt like she took her time with our Bella. She recommended some treatments and medications. Nothing was outside the scope of normal care. She made some diet and food recommendations. DO NOT EVER TAKE ANIMALS HERE! EVER! I had used Banfield vets services for over ten years...until last week. I called requesting an appointment to euthanize my 20 yr old cat who had cancer. I was told soonest I could come in for my emergency was in 7 days (maybe they think cats don't feel pain and suffer?). I brought in my dog with Disk Disease - and she was examined by a vet who NEVER TOUCHED HER! awful just awful Hands down the worst. They essentially killed my puppy... we had to put her down at 6 months old because Banfield misdiagnosed her and prescribed her the wrong medication and never gave any direction to follow. We had to go to a diff vet in order to get a proper examination...all the while still paying the $40 a month for Banfield.. and after my dog passed... I called them to cancel her puppy plan... and then refused to cancel it even tho my dog wasn't even alive anymore.
can't see vet if you can't be entered into system Brought our puppy to Banfield that we had had only 1 day. She was coughing and wasn't eating. We had an appointment. She could not be entered into system. Because of this, they sent us away. We went to another vet. She had kennel cough and moderate to severe pneumonia. I wrote to the corporate offices and never received a response. Poor customer service
banfield crooks Had a scheduled appointment for my dog to get his teeth cleaned @ banfield in the boise,Id pet smart. Took him in as scheduled. Went home cause as you know dog dental takes awhile. After a couple hours I get a call from them stating that my dog isn't healthy enough to undergo the procedure. They wouldn't give me details of why. Ridiculous This clinic is completely filthy, the floor boards in the room were covered in filth and grime. I also noticed some blood on the walls in their waiting area. The Doctor (I think her name was Gardner) was in and out of the room in 2 minutes and did not even thoroughly look at my pet. She was extremley rude and treated me as if I was stupid and knew nothing about my pet. Take care of your pet while taking you for a ride!!! Be VERY CAREFUL with their wellness plan. I've been a member for going on 3 years now. They now practice "auto renewal" even if you don't need the services you needed the year before. Never had a problem until this year. I will go to our family vet after we've ran out our "contract" It's pathetic that they give NO courtesy to their long time customers and take them for a ride like that!!!!!!
Like An Old Friend I've been taking my rescued dogs to Dr. Anderson since before he opened his own clinic (I followed him from a former clinic). He and all his staff understand the unique issues involved in rescuing dogs, and are of great help in overcoming trauma. They really enjoy what they do, and are compassionate above all. We're partners in my dogs' health services. I absolutely trust them. Thanks, Dr. Dan!
Great service My dog was ill and they were able to get me in right away. The doctor was very thorough and it was a comforting experience.
