I just want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the doctor who attended to me during my visit to the Emergency, she is DR. HOLMEN, CAROL. She took the time to properly assess my condition, performed the necessary tests, and gave me the correct diagnosis and treatment. My daughter fell ill while on vacation. She was seen quickly and treated well. She was cared for in a thorough manner, received diagnostics, a review with the pharmacist for medication, and discharged all within 3 hours. All of this on Christmas Eve! For Canadian health care, this was an amazing experience. Thank you to all the nurses and doctors in this little gem of a hospital.

As an American, this was an awful experience. I felt belittled and one of the doctors was disrespectful. I hope to never need another Emergency visit in Canada.

I was taken into emergency on November 30, 2024 for a leg injury. I was very impressed and relieved at how the attending physician and nurses looked after me, thank you 😊

Unless you have Alberta Health as your insurance provider, you will not be seen without paying two fees. A $300 Doctor’s Fee, and an $1100 hospital fee. We walked into the emergency room past folks crying outside who were sick but couldn’t afford to be seen by the clinic.
