I called to book an eye exam and was refused service. In 2020 I had called to book an appointment at the time they were striking. They booked the appointment despite that but then called a few days prior and cancelled saying they were on strike. I was upset and told them they probably shouldn’t have booked the appointment in the first place if they were on strike and they had put me in a position of having to wait longer and drive further for an appointment. Had an incident where a tiny piece of metal embedded into my eye. They were able to see me so quickly and the problem resolved within an hour with the only discomfort being from myself and overthinking it all. I felt so at ease with everyone there. Definitely would have waited longer at the hospital. I accidentally missed an appointment and was told that I would have to pay a ridiculously high fee for the missed appt or I would not be able to make any future appointments. Also, this appointment was right before my 65th birthday and they didn't even bother to ask if I wanted to reschedule the appointment so it would be paid for!
