Apparently you can only shop here if you’re white. Two police officers and three mall security officers surrounded and cited a polite young man of a marginalized community yesterday for "visiting the store several times recently" and, when asked if he was going to buy anything, "copped an attitude." Why would you ask that? I've never been asked such a thing. But this is grounds for a citation if you shop at Banana Republic in Holyoke.
