I was a patient of Dr. Banad for at least five years. He was quiet, modest, and unassuming. Yet his exams were so thorough and his intuition so sharp that he diagnosed both an electrical heart issue I had and something not with my kidneys based on a blood test and an EKG. He was a lung specialist, and I was told that he contracted Covid early in the pandemic and had to retire. I miss him terribly and wish he were still treating patients.
