BambBAD Garden On the Bamboo Garden's sign, the restaurant describes itself as "Fine Chinese Cuisine." This is not true. The first thing I noticed about the Bamboo garden was poor customer service. Our party was not approached to be seated right away, and our waitress hardly knew anything about the menu. The food was terrible, no where near traditional Chinese, but it just wasn't any good. Generous, inexpensive lunch specials – For about $5, I got a generous plateful of perfectly-spiced Kung Pao Tofu with just the right amount of chili heat and an egg roll. On a second visit, I was similarly pleased with the food (tip: try the vegetarian potstickers). The service was prompt and polite, and the ambience was nice, clean and bright. The lunch special is definitely a great value, and I'll be back for more.
