Delivery order, VERY unpleasant experience. RUDE. The guy on the phone 1) hung up when I asked him to hold for a second 2) I called back (not kidding, 5 seconds later) and when we were done ordering I asked him to repeat my order and he said "No, I think we've been on the phone long enough!" MISREPRESENTED. My friend can't eat gluten, so a veggie app was ordered. They said it doesn't come with the lunch special. She asked what did, he said "just get soup, I'm giving you soup." bad takeway – I just want a local good indian restaurant - but this isn't it. Just waited nearly an hour for bad food with small portions, my recommendation, don't go there!

Average food, above average price – The food here is ok, but prices seem high for what you get. Our waiter was not particularly friendly or helpful.

Think twice about eating here... – I have been to the Baluchi's on Greenwich for lunch a few times... the food is usually mediocre... but they do have a good deal for lunch. Generally, the service is so-so... the waiter tends to snatch your plate the moment you stop eating... you might not even be done yet... and it's not like there aren't empty tables... Only worth it for lunch – I recently went to Baluchi's. It's been a while since my previous visit, and it's totally different. They don't have a lunch buffet anymore. The food was average. I have to say, at those prices, its only worth going at lunch because of the half off. For full price, go somewhere else, cause Baluchi's is definitely not worth the price.

Horrible Service – I LOVE Baluchis uptown- I go there all the time. However- this location has no value on customer service. When my delivery order was lost and never delivered, I called to inquire about it. The manager yelled at me on the phone and told me I WAS WRONG and that they delivery guy was in my building for 30 minutes. However I know the right location and was waiting down there - it is obvious who was right. I will stick to my uptown location from now on.

The only thing good is the decor – I was impressed with the decor but that was the only good thing about the luch time experience here. The waiter who came to take the order seemed to be in a hurry and had an attitude. The Butter Chicken was most likely made from the left over Tandoori chicken from the night before. The chicken was dry and not even warmed properly. The Malai Kabab was not warm in the center. The men's room had a funky smell. SUPER INDIAN – I've never eaten at any of the other Baluchis, just this one. They have a 1/2 price lunch special and the food is awesome and authentic. The decor is great too. I normally eat at the indian places on 6th Street, but those are cra.p compared to this place.
