On July 3, 2026 I attended the BSO concert at Oregon Ridge. I found the selection of music to be very disappointing. This event was attended by families for the 250th celebration of our country. There was one Armed Forces medley played. No other patriotic songs .before the fireworks. Although the opera singer was very talented, she sang for 20 minutes in which no one could understand what she was saying. It was not a family appropriate piece. For those of us who will no longer visit the kennedy center or attend n s o events, it is a great relief to have the b s o at strathmore. Under the able guidance of administrators such as Kandi Wong, the orchestra runs a stellar operation at that concert venue.
BSO STRATHMORE IS always an amazing symohony. For the Beyonce fusion off the chain. Great way to fuse genre and multicultural patrons
We saw Raiders of the Lost Ark: In Concert. It was fantastic and I would totally see another show like that.
