Really pissed off. Was quoted $260 for the basic log book service I asked for and told him I was happy to pay for new wiper blades. When I came to pick it up today, $480 appeared on the EFTPOS. He just waffled something that made it sound like my wiper blades were particularly expensive. When he gave me the itemised receipt only AFTER paying, I realised he had charged me 160 for an “engine performance upgrade” I had never approved. I’m so glad I found Balmain Automotive! My engine light came on unexpectedly, and I happened to be nearby. Even though they were fully booked, they were kind enough to stay back and work on my car. The mechanic went above and beyond to get everything sorted quickly. As a female, I’ve had experiences where I felt overcharged or misled by other places—but not here. First time car service with Balmain Automotive since moving to the area. The guys were polite and courteous. I am more than happy with the service of my car and will not hesitate to continue with their service.
They were pretty good. First time l used them to get my car registered. Had to have my breaks done. They were quick, efficient and no nonesense.
