Requested a bid on large tree removal. The most rude and unprofessional company I’ve probably come across. Person was supposed to call before showing up but didn’t, he showed up as another company was leaving, I told him he was free to go back and take a look at trees. He rudely questioned why we would schedule at same time as someone else and gave me a nasty look. I asked him to leave. Maybe he knew their prices are too high - don’t know. Matt and his team were extremely professional and efficient with the removal of 2 large trees after a storm. Matt and his team had the tree removal done in less than 24 hours. Couldn’t recommend this company enough!

Ballwin Tree Service gave me a quote for taking down a large tree, cutting the wood into firewood length, splitting the wood and stacking. Let them know we wanted to proceed and I was told we were being scheduled. Then they texted me back the next evening saying they changed their mind and would not do the work. I do not recommend. Tell a potential customer upfront if you cannot/will not do the work. Don’t give them a quote, say they are being scheduled and then back out.

I saw a quote on one of their company vehicles driving around today: “We cut trees, not corners.” Yet the same vehicle has a license plate that’s been expired since April 2024. That looks like a corner being cut — a simple one that’s gone unaddressed for over two years. This likely has nothing to do with their ability to cut trees, but it does make you wonder.
