Staff is good and try to build connections with kids. Management needs to support staff better. Lots of activities were planned for summer but didn't see many things being done in practice. There are lots of activities on paper but I dont see as much interest and fun for kids. Some improvements could be addition of more fun activities like free flow dance/music time for kids, group play, etc. We had to do multiple followups with management for setting up correct food preferences. (again, 9/25) - overworked, understaffed, stressed = everyone around. It feels the entire recess is spent screaming & crying - no laughter. The neighbors, we hear it all and it's heartbreaking. Some kids cry endlessly for their parents, endless cries and monster screams (today it was hours), tired teachers each morning/afternoon... it's a horrible experience to hear and watch. We enrolled our premie twins here at 5mo and really enjoyed the care the twins received from Ms. Karima and Ms. Touria. They are incredible caregivers for infants. The way they warmly welcomed the kids each morning and communicated what they observed throughout the day was really helpful and as a new mom. It is clear that they take pride in their jobs and genuinely enjoy caring for children. Huge thank you to both of them and to Jill & Wubit for the time we spent at Ballinger Shoreline Kindercare!
(Updated September 2025) - I can't believe our society has normalized parents paying ~2k/month for their children to be exposed to this much sadness and sorrow on a daily basis. These kids & teachers hold so much stress. all of this is my opinion - (updated August 2025) - they are putting these kids through SUCH STRESS DAILY. some of these tecahers. absolutely destroying and repremanding some of these 3yo kids "WHAT DONT YOU UNDERSTAND AbOUT WHAT I"M SAYING" - teh kids say in response " I HATE YOU!" they hate these tecahers.... read more
