The slide was great, even my 6 y.o. eventually struck up the courage to go on the big slide. Great exercise for them: they must have climbed the equivalent of a 20 story building! But none of them were interested in a swim in the memorial pool afterwards. It's a drag you have to pay for both; the slide is already expensive enough.
Took our elderly mum for a swim in the heated pool today , it was chaotic . Every single rule that is up in clear sight for all to see were being ignored and broken. Kids running around on the cement both outside and in then jumping in pools was amazing . Accidents waiting to happen. In the heated pool where it specifically says NO ball games there were numerous groups of children and families playing with balls from tennis ball size upto basketball size … a lot of people were hit in the head including us … kids doing bombs ... read more
