7 hours total spent in this hospital, telling them my medical history over and over and over only for them to forget it seconds later and take no acknowledgement of the provided information, like none of what I had to say about my own body, symptoms, history and medications mattered to them at all. Ne vous fiez pas aux mauvais avis. J'y suis allée pour ma fille qui avait très mal à son pied suite à une chute. Dès notre arrivée aux urgences, la dame de la réception nous a très bien accueilli malgré que nous ne parlions pas anglais. Elle fut très gentille. Je remercie l'équipe médicale qui était d'une grande gentillesse envers nous et ma fille. Ils étaient aux petits soins. Je ne regrette pas d'être venue.

I’ve taken my kids here three times now, and never would again. The nurses are lovely, but the doctors are awful - especially with children. They keep you waiting, have no sense of urgency, refuse to do any testing unless pushed, and make comments about vaccine choices, and basically insinuate that you’ve wasted their time. I’d say most people wouldn’t bring their infant kids to the emergancy room unless they thought it was exactly that - an emergancy, but honestly you’re better off travelling to Byron, or Tweed. The most disappointing hospital in Australia!!! There seems to be a complete lack of priorities! You end up waiting for an eternity, and the staff move at a snail's pace. There is a shocking lack of respect for human dignity, particularly when it comes to infants. Your feelings appear to be disregarded, and the staff can be quite impolite. Don’t recommend it

presented my wife to the emergency department on Saturday evening after falling off her bike, the staff their couldn’t do enough for her - the care and compassion they had was amazing- nothing was a problem- referred her to the physio team on the Monday and they were they same - so Thankyou Ballina staff you are amazing 🤩 TT🙏🙏
