please try to avoid this office. In online scheduling i chose to want a gynecologic visit, I made an appointment and end up without a gynecology visit (I dont know how a family physician doctor works with ignoring the "women" part of a preventive visit), the office referred me to an OBGYN doctor to go to just have a preventive visit, related to WOMEN, because he doesn't like to do that (that was explanation I got from the office afterwards). Unfortunately I can't give him zero stars. I have a very good reason as follows. My wife wanted to meet with a different physician in Westside Primary Care facility due to an urgent medical need but ended up meeting with Dr. Ballestas. She was having high heart rate and we suspected elevated thyroid level as she has gone through two episodes in the past. It takes several weeks to get an appointment with her former endocrinologist. I can't attest to the experiences of other reviewers, but Dr. Ballestas has never been anything but timely and well mannered with me. The nurses are always very friendly and helpful as well. That receptionist though, she's got quite the attitude.
The staff is awesome, but Dr. Ballestas not so much. Get another doctor.
He holds the worst personality ever very unprofessional. I rescheduled my appointment and as I was driving to my consultation with him he asks his assistant to call and cancel me. I immediately requested a new PCP and will never refer anyone to him
