My daughter participated for years and they create a dance community that emphasizes growth and belonging over competition, that teaches our children to be present and mindful in their bodies, and creates space for joy along with challenge. A gem in the neighborhood!
Ballare is kind of a trek for us, compared to the dance studio down the street from our house, but our dancer has some minor mobility issues and her PT said to find a dance studio that really focuses on quality technique rather than flash. Ballare delivers this in spades - really great teachers, solid curriculum, body-inclusive and gender-inclusive culture.
